Protect Garfield County Libraries
Let's show our support for our libraries and our freedom to read!
Tuesday, April 30
Gather at noon – 8th St. & Pitkin Ave., Glenwood Springs
BOCC meeting at 1:00 – 108 8th St., Room 100
Let's make sure our libraries remain places that welcome and support ALL kids! Let's let our county commissioners know that we disapprove of restricting access to any books and there is no reason for them to be taking control over the library trustee selection process.
Meet up at noon with library supporters at the corner of 8th St and Pitkin Ave for sign-making and sign-waving. Wear the color red so supporters can identify each other and to show that we value being well-read!
At the BOCC meeting, commissioners will be interviewing about 16 candidates for the position of Library Trustee. The agenda does not include Public Comment time.

Protect Reproductive Freedom in Colorado
Coloradans for Protecting Reproductive Freedom is working to put a constitutional amendment on the November 2024 ballot to protect abortion from government interference. To get on the 2024 Colorado November ballot, they need to collect over 185,000 signatures from registered voters across Colorado.
